Ever since our architects’ pencils first stroke, WE CARED about the construction and management of an ecologically responsible hotel.
Our management team put a lot of effort into coming up with creative solutions to prevent wasting water, energy, and paper. We introduced a smart room management system that uses motion sensors to control the air conditioning and lights. Additionally, all hotel hallway lights are controlled by the sensors. We replaced the antiquated paper “Do not disturb” door handle signs with more contemporary, environmentally friendly lighting that guests only need to turn on to understand what kind of service is anticipated.
We avoid needless plastic waste by giving dispensers toiletries rather than individual sachets. Thousands of pieces of paper are replaced with tablets at our paperless front desk for each visitor registration. Alongside many other initiatives, we also urge guests to recycle, repurpose, and practice mindfulness.
As we work toward earning the esteemed GSTC certification, we are glad to be thinking “green.”
